To oversee, develop and manage the partnerships, advocacy, and communication efforts in the country and ensure alignment with both the organization strategy and the local context. To serve as a thought leader to the Country Director.
DUTIES, TASKS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Partnerships
- Develop a country engagement strategy
- Lead governments engagements to position the company as a critical CH partner with the different directorates
- Manage relations and interface between the company and national/district governments.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders such as UNICEF, PMI, USAID, TdH…
- Design, build and/or connect with relevant coalitions.
Advocacy
- Develop and lead country advocacy agenda based on gaps and opportunities identified.
- Influence key CH and digital health policies, strategies, and frameworks in the country in line with the organization’s strategy and priorities with a specific focus on the DESC pillar.
- Coordinate resource mobilization efforts towards Community Health.
- Coordinate country efforts in relation with the regional and global advocacy team.
Communication:
- Coordinate communication efforts in the country.
- Be the point person for the global team.
- Provide key documentation on country programs and efforts to generate communication pieces at local, regional, and/or global levels.
- Represent the organization at the conference.
BD
- Support BD efforts in the country both in terms of relationship management and proposal development.
- Leadership
- Support the country director in developing strategy and plans in Burkina Faso.
-Be a constant thought partner to the Country director.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 10 to 12 years relevant experience with three (3) years managerial.
- Bachelor’s degree plus a professional qualification in Public Health, Communications, PR, or a related field.
- Over 10 years and above of experience in advocacy and partnership building, management and programs design, health policy development, and/or working in health system strengthening efforts with Government (either National or Sub National)
- Management/Supervisory skills and high levels of integrity
- Ability to communicate both inside and outside the organization.
- Ability to analyze, comprehend, and articulate the operational goals and strategic plan of the organization to guide decision-making.
- Provides leadership ineffective management and stewardship of programs/business units
- Interpersonal and leadership skills and high levels of integrity
- Builds commitment through collaboration, consultation, and consideration of the stakeholders and the teams
