- Review postings and entries in the ERP system.
- Conduct Account Reconciliations at the close of periods.
- Post recurring journals and amortizations.
- Prepare monthly reports.
- Identify and review program costs.
- Ensure timesheets are filled and time is charged correctly.
- Communicate and act as a liaison between service delivery senior manager and finance.
- Analyse actual costs versus budgeted amounts.
- Collate and put into effect changes in the payroll system.
- Calculate dues, disburse funds and ensure all statutory payments are made.
- Ensure compliance to tax regulations and guidelines
- Ensure that statutory returns are finalized, and payments are made
- Prepare audit schedules for annual, internal, or donor audits
- Collect budget inputs from the program team to prepare annual budget/ half-year forecast

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field;
- Relevant Professional qualification ;
- CPA or ACCA
- Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience with one year (1) at the supervisory level
- Makes sound decisions and judgments based on input from others, data, and feedback
- Sets individual objectives in alignment with broader (team, unit, department, faculty) objectives.
- Meets performance expectations and deadlines (quality, quantity, and time commitments) in programs/projects
- Management/Supervisory skills and high levels of integrity
- Ability to communicate both inside and outside the organization.
- English and French speaker
